After being tasked with doing something "risky" I decided to hit the streets and speak with small business owners about their financing needs and experiences. Over the past year I have been developing a revenue based financial model aimed at helping small businesses get access to funding through community involvement. Up until this point, I have received a lot of positive feedback but it has mostly been given in an academic setting. I decided that it was time to take a risk and put my idea in front of the people who's feedback is perhaps the most important at the local farmers market this past weekend. This video is just one example of the conversations I had with small business owners.
